Sara Eakes has extensive experience developing research training programs through NP Institute, the firm’s professional development e-learning center, including a series of bootcamps for new associates in a variety of practice areas as well as a short, just in time series of “snack break” sessions. Sara enjoys working with the team of professional librarians at NP who are dedicated to continually implementing new services and resources. She collaborated on the AALL program, “How to Avoid Circling the Wagons: Creating New Best Practices through Law Firm Expansion.” Prior to her work as a librarian, Sara gained law firm management perspective by working as an office administrator at an energy boutique. She has a Masters in Library Science from the University of Maryland and a BA in English from Dickinson College. She has been a member of AALL and the Law Librarians Society of Washington DC since 1985.
