Biography: Greg Castanias, Jones Day’s Global Library Partner since 2004, works closely with Firm Director of Library Services Joan Jarosek on library service issues including planning, policies and contract negotiations. When not championing the library, he is a litigator who heads Jones Day’s Federal Circuit practice, representing clients in courts across the United States — the United States Supreme Court, courts of appeals, and elsewhere. The Legal 500 singled out Greg as one of the leading U.S. IP lawyers, calling him “a sharp and effective advocate who picks up the details of the matter quickly” and “a great issue-spotter and skilled advocate.” Greg’s J.D. is from Indiana University Maurer School of Law inBloomington, where he graduated summa cum laude and was Order of the Coif, Order of Barristers and a member of the Indiana Law Journal. His undergraduate degree is fromWabashCollege (A.B. in English and Philosophy, summa cum laude).
