Strategic Communication with Megan Wilroy

Megan Wilroy is a Principal Consultant with Akina and works with corporations and law firms to achieve measurable results by transforming their business models. She has over 10 years of experience in legal marketing and in the legal industry.

Before joining Akina, Megan worked in an AmLaw 50 firm and in a midsize boutique. She implemented successful cross-selling and marketing initiatives by teaching sales principles to attorneys, helping them to improve their business skills and grow their revenue.

Megan is active in the Midwest Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association and served as its President in 2009.

Strategy with Paul Meyer

Paul Meyer is the President and Co-CEO of Tecker International, LLC, a consulting services firm providing strategy development and change management consulting to over 300 organizations including the D.C. Bar and the Science and Technology Law Section of the ABA. With a background in corporate life and training in the areas of marketing, public relations and branding, he has experience advising both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

A solution-oriented strategist and gifted facilitator, Paul helps his clients restructure, reposition, and retool their operations for future success. He is also the co-author of the best-selling book on organizational strategy and governance, The Will to Govern Well: Knowledge, Trust, and Nimbleness.

Keynote Speaker: Eric Seeger

Eric Seeger is a principal of Altman Weil who works with law firms in the areas of strategy formation and execution, practice group planning, organizational issues and more.  He is the co-author of Altman Weil’s highly regarded annual industry survey, Law Firms in Transition.

Eric’s prior experience includes positions as Chief Operating Officer of a regional law firm and Director of Strategic Planning and Practice Group Management for an AmLaw 200 firm.   He has also worked as an independent consultant to law firms and corporate executives and authored numerous articles in legal industry publications.
