Just a reminder that “early bird” registration for the AALL Meeting & Conference in Austin is available through June 2. Most Summit attendees also go to the Annual Meeting, so if you haven’t registered yet, here’s your opportunity to save $100! More information about the Summit is available on the 2017 Summit website, including the agenda, sessions, and speakers. We’ll start the morning with a Keynote by Professor Gabriel Teninbaum that explores the legal innovation landscape, followed by Professor Dan Katz discussing how librarians can become more data-driven. In the afternoon, a panel discussion by law librarians will show how they are leveraging technology. Mary Abraham will wrap up the Summit with an interactive session on how to survive and even thrive during change.
Be sure to add the PLLIP Summit (listed as a preconference workshop) when you register on the AALL conference page. Note that registration for Summit, whether or not you’re attending the full conference, must be completed by June 19th, as space at our event is limited. If you have any questions about registration or the Summit in general, please feel free to contact our co-chairs Alicia Pappas and Jeremy Sullivan.
