The 2020 PLLIP Virtual Summit, Transformation 2020: Instrumental Tools for the Future, will take place on Friday, July 10, 2020. Our 2020 PLLIP Virtual Summit will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about transforming the tools available to law librarians in the private law library setting in the midst of a global pandemic.
The Keynote speaker for the 2020 PLLIP Virtual Summit, Ari Kaplan, will provide a framework of how law firms are approaching innovation and creative ways that knowledge leaders are redefining their heightened roles to support this transformation. The first program after the Keynote will be a panel of law librarians who will discuss the ways they’ve kept their departments moving forward during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the adaptations they’ve made along the way. Because communication is key during this time of crises, the second program will feature a communication style assessment, followed by an overview of four unique and colorful styles people display in their work attitudes and behaviors. Please see the Agenda and Speaker pages for more details.
